    If you wish to search the web for specific health information, we recommend starting with MedlinePlus.com. Using popular search engines (e.g., Google, Yahoo, Bing) often yields a mixture of mis-information and useful information that is hard to sort out.

      General health information on a range of topics from the American Academy of Family Physicians.
    • Flu Information from US Dept of Health
      Clear, practical, regularly updated, information about both the seasonal flu and the H1N1 (Swine) flu. Includes symptoms, emergency danger signs, what to do if you or your child are sick, etc.
    • Health Topics - NYC Health Department
      The NYC Health Department has put together high quality patient education and provider materials (mostly PDFs) on many health topics.
